Restaurant Hakka Marble 美浩天美食馆
People who come here would definitely order their Hakka Abacus (算盘子). They sell two types of Hakka Abacus - the traditional Yam Abacus and the healthy Pumpkin Abacus. Both of it taste good but today we ordered the latter. Growing up as a Hakka girl, I have always loved Hakka Abacus but it's hard to make one that taste good yet maintaining their softness and chewiness. Since my grandmother passed away there's no one at home that can make such good ones. So I will always order one whenever I go to some Hakka restaurant. This restaurant is definitely one that is on top of the list.

Other than the abacus, this restaurant also serve Fried Asam Laksa. I have only tried the one in Subang Jaya and today is the first time I tried it in Hakka Marble. Their Fried Asam Laksa is served with a fresh medium prawn on top and the pineapple that they used is delicious too. You will be able to see chunks of pineapple, cucumber, some onion slices and a few mint leaves in it which are the main ingredients for Asam Laksa. I would say that I think the Fried Asam Laksa in Hakka Marble taste better than the one in Subang Jaya. It's definitely worth a try.

Other than that, we also ordered the Fried Rice Cake. It has loads of pork lard in it but if you ask me, I would say that I had tried nicer Fried Rice Cake elsewhere. Their fried rice cake has lots of ingredients such as vegetables, parsley and so on which I think they put way too much in it that they stole away the taste of the original taste of the rice cake. Hence, not all people likes parsley due to the smell that it has. My friends are one of them so they have to choose out all the parsley in it.

Their specialty drinks seems to be a perfect combination that goes well with the food especially their fresh lemonade juice which is just perfect to quench our thirst after our badminton session. The lemon that they put in the drink is actually quite big and not just slices of it. The other drink that is worth a try is their Sarsi Cincau. The sarsi is not very sweet and it's actually taste quite good together with the cincau.

The restaurant is quite small as the back of it is used as an open kitchen. It's normally packed during dinner time. People come as early as 5.00pm. So you will have to wait for quite awhile. Despite the crowd, I will definitely come back for their Hakka Abacus. :) Try it out yourself.
